Buying cubicles comes down to four decisions: how tall the panels are, how large each station is, how many stations you need, and how it is finished. This guide takes them in that order, with the starting price for every configuration we hold in stock.

What you are buying
Systems In-Stock is a modular panel system manufactured by OfficeStar Products. It follows the same layout logic as Herman Miller's AO2 line, which is the shape most people picture when they picture a cubicle, at a lower price and with stock held on the shelf rather than built to order.

Every station in the configurations below includes panels, a laminate worksurface, and one pedestal file with two personal storage boxes and a full-size file drawer. Seating is sold separately.
Panel height: the decision that shapes the room
Panel height is the hardest thing to judge from a photograph and the choice that determines most of how a space feels day to day. Two reference points settle it. Eye level for a seated adult is roughly 46 inches. Eye level for a standing adult is roughly 63 inches. A panel below the seated line keeps the room visually open; a panel above the standing line closes each station off.

Every layout ships as one connected system, with shared walls and power runs included. The prices below are starting points at 39-inch panel height. Taller panels, trim, and finish selections move the final price up.

Footprint is the floor area of a single station. A six-pack of 6' x 8' stations, for example, is six stations of 48 square feet each.
Beyond the standard layouts
The configurations above are pre-built so you can spec and order without a phone call. Anything outside them is still available, it just needs a conversation: panel heights other than 39", 53", and 67", custom colors, footprints other than 6' x 6', 6' x 8', and 8' x 8', more or less storage per station, and glass panel inserts for a more upscale look.

Frequently asked questions
Can I mix panel heights in one cubicle order?
Panel height is set per configuration, so each configuration is a single height throughout. To vary height between zones of an office, order a separate configuration for each zone.
Is seating included with a cubicle system?
No. Seating is sold separately from cubicle systems. Our task chair collection is the usual starting point.
Is cubicle installation included in the price?
No. The prices listed are for the furniture only. Most cubicle systems need professional installation, and we quote that separately based on your location and the size of the job. Ask a rep for an installation quote when you are ready to order.
What does free shipping cover on cubicles?
OfficeStar cubicle systems ship free by standard LTL freight to commercial addresses in the contiguous United States. Limited-access delivery sites and liftgate service can add supplemental charges. How LTL freight delivery works covers what to expect on delivery day.
Are Systems In-Stock cubicles the same as Herman Miller AO2?
No. Systems In-Stock is manufactured independently by OfficeStar Products. It is not affiliated with Herman Miller, and its components are not compatible with AO2 components.
